ABOUT US

We provide contractual support for construction projects, including those financed from public and foreign funds, at particular stages of their implementation. By working with engineers and lawyers in various areas of specialization, we can provide our clients with a comprehensive range of services. We implement projects in sectors such as infrastructure, airports, energy, enclosed structures, and industrial facilities.

SERVICES

The pre-implementation stage

  • Identifying and preventing risks associated with the project.
  • Interpreting the Functional-Utility program and describing the subject of the contract in terms of the material scope of the contract.
  • Preparing questions regarding the content of the contract documentation.
  • Training courses:
    Methods of reducing risks associated with project implementation. FIDIC contract conditions in practice.

The implementation stage

  • Identifying potential threats and contract consultancy allowing investments to run smoothly.
  • Contract and claim management.
  • Preparing deadline and financial claims.
  • Analysis and valuation of delays and disruptions.
  • Preparing a claims negotiation strategy and acting as the client’s representative during claims negotiations with the Employer/Engineer.
  • Advice and defense against claims.
  • Preparing opinions and positions for participants in the investment process.
  • Participating in the composition of the Party’s personnel.

  • Bank monitoring of construction investments.

After completion of the works/contract

  • Preparing opinions on costs and delays for conducting contractual disputes before the Dispute Commission, arbitration court, or common court.
  • Serving as an Expert of the client (time and cost analyses, quality analyses of the works performed and technical aspects related to their implementation).
  • Assessing the legitimacy of claims and calculation of contractual penalties.
  • Conducting negotiations related to the settlement of the contract.
  • Dispute resolution – dispute management, strategic negotiations, and planning of strategic concessions.
  • Independent expert services.
  • Acting as an arbitrator, mediator, and participation as the client’s representative in the mediation procedure.

  • M.Eng., Faculty of Civil Engineering in Cracow, Poland.
  • Postgraduate studies, the Wroclaw University of Technology Major: International Procedures of Realization Investment according to FIDIC.
  • Master of Business Administration – Collegium Humanum Warsaw Management University, MBA accredited by Apsley Business School-London.

MEMBERSHIPS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Member of the Polish and Lesser District Chamber of Civil Engineers; professional license to manage and supervise railway construction works, unlimited in scope.
  • Member of the Association of Consulting Engineers and Experts – SIDiR (FIDIC).
  • Mediator of the Polish Mediation Center I The Janina Waluk Branch in Warsaw.
  • Court expert in the field of construction: Delay Analyses; organization and management in construction, settlement of construction investments (Quantum). Court- appointed expert at the District Court in Warsaw.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

I began my professional career at general contracting companies in Poland and the United Kingdom, where I worked as an Engineer, then Quantity Surveyor and Contract Administrator, and finally as the Manager of the Contracts and Claims Administration Department. For over 15 years I have been dealing with the largest construction projects in the infrastructure, industrial and enclosed structures construction sector, based on the international contract standards FIDIC, NEC, and VOB. I provide services in the field of contract consulting, contract settlement, claims management, contract administration, and the preparation of independent expert opinions.
